Thanks! I did have to make some trade-offs. I couldn't justify a 90K plus MSRP for a base Corvette although I'm not too far off.

I did get what I think are the important options like the HTC, 2LT trim, performance exhaust, mag ride, and front lift.

Two advantages of waiting for a 2021 is being able to get the mag ride shocks without having to purchase the Z51 package and the wireless Apple Carplay.

Like cheap 4 cyl imports with a manual that you can pick up for $14.5k.

My re-order for a 2021 moved to 3000 order status in November. I'm looking forward to being the owner of both of Chevy's performance vehicles.
Same thing happened to me. I had mine ordered with a $5,000 deposit on it the day after the reveal. Never made it past 3000 status. The strike made things tight but there was still a shot I would get a 2020. Covid put the nail in the coffin. So I cancelled my order. Figured I'd just scour the dealerships and try to find one that nobody bought yet.

Vehicles I'm interested in:

Suzuki Boulevard M109R Boss. H2...to go with my H2-SX. Aprilia RSV4. Ducati xDiavel or the Diavel. ZX-14.

GTR. C7 Z06. Any McLaren but will probably settle for a used MP$-12C or a used 570S. C8 Z51. X6M.

Money no object/total fantasy world; AM Valkyrie

Never divorced or put kids through college; 992 GT3(RS when available)

Realistically; I'm seriously eyeballing C8 Z06/Z07. Definitely looks like another serious performance value from Chevy.

There's some 2020's left out there but dealers are still marking them up like they were 6 months ago so they're just sitting there. No one is paying that sky high ADM anymore since production is back in full swing. I think most people are content to wait on 2021's now. Dealers are really screwing themselves with the ADM now. We've got a local 2020 3LT they're asking $110k, its been sitting on the lot for a month and a half now. 6 months ago that car would have been gone in a day or two even at that price.

Local dealer here has a new 2020 C8 3LT for 83k. Too bad it's red. I don't like red.

C8 is cool but not having manual means I am not interested. Otherwise I could see why others love the car.

Sent from toaster or something

Are we talking "Dream Car" or more from a reality stand point?

Dream Car - Lexus LFA...baddest sounding street car on the planet...IMHO

Reality Car - ZL1 is my "Fun Car" so I would like to get a upgraded daily...right now I am leasing a Honda Civic LX. Maybe a slightly used LT1 with the A10?

Guy showed up with an LFA at a PCA track weekend we did in 2019... it did sound amazing on track.

Good price for a 3LT right now.

The three on my radar: 2023 Corvette Eray/Grandsport or the '22 Audi RS6 Avant or 911 Turbo.

The next car will be some form of AWD.

They had Yamaha (the music company) design the V10 exhaust to sound like a Formula One car.
