Hey Tara,

Hopefully the liaison is right and it will come through, but if not I wouldn't hesitate to move on, you've given them plenty of time.

Joe would be a great choice. Everyone who's worked with him or Becky says nothing but great things.

I wouldn't hesitate to myself, but I've got a good relationship with my local dealership. Bought my last 3 cars from them and they treat me well. On this ZL1 I walked in and said hi to the salesperson, we walked together over to the new car manager, and I handed him the list of options I'd printed out from the online configurator. He entered them while I stood there, replacing an SS he'd already had entered for the lot. We talked for a little bit about a few of the options, but even with that I was only there for maybe 30 minutes.

If yours is picked up this week we may get the same TPW!

Thanks for the advice again! I didn't mention that this dealer is about 60 miles away, so I can't just stop by easily to query them in person. It only took about 30 minutes in my case, and I had the order printed and in my hand based on my specifications. They may have misled me expecting an allocation that they didn't have in early November when I entered my order, leading me on that they did. If the order's not moved to 2000 or 2500 next week, I'll tell them to drop it and I'll probably talk to Joe P. I always wanted to order from Ms. Becky, but I didn't. I guess the fear of being so far away and all...
