CSP 755 hp and Cam Package

Final numbers for the CSP build. Very happy with the results. Ended up with 715 RWHP and 686 torque. The chop is amazing but the headers and the Borla Atak is a little defining. Probably should of did a different combination. Andrew and Alex did an amazing job! They had my car awhile but they turned my lemon into a fine oiled machine. Never a good thing when they tell you that your engine has been out and oil pump changed, find wood used to stop vibration, and burned wiring harnesses hooked up backwards. I made the biggest mistake not porting the heads. Smh.... Not sure what to do next. I would like to have a 800 RWHP car. Any suggestions? Flex fuel kit maybe a blower swap. Not worth porting the heads now I wouldn’t think. They tried to tell me to do it when the cam is done. My mistake. They did a great job. It was worth being without my car for two months. They earned my business again.

I wouldn't worry about the heads now. Since you have extra fuel from the cam, if you have E85 available to you I would certainly go with a flex fuel kit. It probably still won't get you to 800whp, but should be a nice increase above what you have now. If you add a Magnuson 2650R, you'll be well over 800whp.

At that HP 800+ he will need a low side upgrade to be in the safe realm.

What boost level are you making 715hp on? Seems a bit low if not running stock boost.

Depends on what it base lined. If it made 560whp stock then that is 155whp gain which seems about right for a cam, headers, stock boost, 93 octane setup.

By “defining” do you mean “hear me from a mile away”?

Lol its loud. That was my setup. I had to take the ATAK mufflers off and replace with S-type as it was NASCAR past 3000Rpm's and could wake the dead. I also have green cats, i can just imagine how bad it is with no cats.

Sorry, edited. I meant NOT on stock boost as he said he had a pulley.

This could help if it is too loud.

I was never given the baseline. The car had multiple issues. Things that a car with 2900 miles should never have. I 100% am getting a flex fuel kit and probably a stronger clutch. If money allows I would love to get a Magnuson or even a whipple. I will never track this car but I will blow the doors off the young kids in the hell cats. Sorry for this dumb question but at what point do I need to beef up the rear end? This car is amazing. Stinks I just got it back and it has to be put away for a couple months. Thanks for the advice as I am a rookie when it comes to building a super car killer.

If money allows, the Whipple is old news. Right now everyone is going to the Magnuson 2650R, its just a much better blower. We'll see how the next generation of blowers shake out though, Whipple is working on a Gen 5 blower and Magnuson has a 3.1L in the works.

I've been told the rear end isn't an issue until well above 800hp, but a lot of that will depend on how much you drag race with sticky tires. I believe the axles and possible driveshaft become a problem before the diff.
