Next round of mods will be Mighty Mouse Wild Catch Can, Cordes Expansion Tank, Weapon X-Heat exchangers, headers, and potentially upgrading a pulley. Here's where I'm running into an issue.

I see people recommend lower pulley, but what all supporting mods do I need? Damper, pulley itself, lower ring. There's hundreds of things and I have absolutely 0 idea what I'm looking at. What all do I need to upgrade the lower, and what do you guys recommend? I've looked on the forums but I can't make sense of what all exactly I need. Not looking for crazy power, just want to reliably liven the car up a bit. Thanks guys.

If you do the lower pulley this is what you need..

ATI 918856 balancer
ATI 916227 or Lingenfelter L220170709 9.17 or 15% overdrive
GATES Greenback k080845HD
LS1 ATI 951499 damper bolt
NGK 6510 1 step cooler plugs

summit or jegs has some coupon codes all can be found there or DSX may have lower prices he also has his own blower rings

* Do not buy a LT crank bolt you use a LS bolt with the ATI balancer*

Yes. This is what my performance shop is telling me also and said that the Lingenfelter parts are some of the best made. He said their customer service is a bit of a challenge and getting parts sometimes takes a while but he said it is totally worth it.

No issues with DSX crank pullies that I'm aware of. There are other good manufacturers too but shops like to use specific parts that they're familiar with.

Agreed! My post was just telling everyone what my shop said and supporting EDFHOBBIES post. Everyone has to go with what they think works best for their car and situation.

Well that is disappointing.....after my warranty runs out i was hoping to go straight to doing a tune, and pulley....but since i'm in cali and can't do headers looks like that is a no go for me. Unless headers truly isn't a requirement.....or is it? Also is there any vendors that you would suggest that can port the blower?

What about headers and green cats?

radz28 lives in CA. He has a 2650 Maggie, TB and a Big Gulp all running through stock exhaust, and I believe he is still compliant.

I'm pretty sure they are rebranded ATI parts but lingenfelter is top notch for sure. I use Brandon over there.

Headers are pretty much a requirement for any boost increase because the stock exhaust manifolds are so restrictive. Highly recommend Kong for LT4 blower porting. Jokerz does good work too but their customer service is lacking.

Those aren't going to pass emissions, especially in California. The Kooks green cats are as good as they get for durability but any high flow cat is unlikely to pass any emissions test.

Ported SC by either Kong or MAD (there in Houston), upper grip tech 2.3 pulley or lower 9.17 pulley (not both), ceramic coated headers without cats, 103 TB, And Big Gulp. Should put you to about 680-700 whp.

Probably 650-670whp depending on the dyno but otherwise I agree with you those are the go-to mods.
