Nope, there’s a mid point junction. The line from rear of the manifold to the junction point you disconnect there.

I just heard back from Rotofab. They are looking into the LT2 fitment I brought up. They are a class act.

And yea, the brake booster line is a PIA. I left it on and it unsnapped easily on my bench. Much easier than on my '16 SS. However removing it from the LT2 IM is a bad idea as it looks a tiny bit damaged. The connection on the GPI LT2 is a little different. But it made a good seal back on my stock IM. Thanks for the part number.

So as I was reading a few pages back, it looks like the heat barrier/shield could cause fitment problems during install or is it best to shave off the entire ribs off the bottom and use whats there? I asked GPI about but they want an extra $75 to shave the entire bottom:/

Easy enough to do with a electric grinder and a 7 inch 60 grit sander attached.

Does the Corvette not use a under manifold heat/sound pad?

Do not know, but I would be more interested in Making my own heat reflector to keep the intake manifold cooler.

Is this confirmed it’s too lean? Can’t run without a tune?

It seems to depend on the car and mods. After installing the manifold and checking logs it seems like some people need an adjustment to their tune and others do not. I saw an example where someone was running slightly rich and someone else was running a bit lean. I bought a manifold but never installed it. I plan on tracking my car and don’t have any plans on ever tuning my car. I can’t risk my air fuel not being spot on everywhere in the rev range and under every load condition. I’m selling my uninstalled manifold because of the examples I’ve seen.

I ended up putting heat foil tape on my underside of the LT2 manifold after I shaved the whole bottom.

Totally agree with the 95mm TB it runs way to lean and my AFR gauge shows it. I have actually taken manifold and TB off till I complete other mods and will tune just before spring. (March)

As soon as I put it back to the stock manifold and TB the AFR readings went back to normal. But I miss that sound, sounded really good.

Same thoughts here but the car just doesn’t pull hard to top of the rev range so this would be a perfect fix but can’t risk track warranty.

Damn shame. Trying to figure out if people with stock throttle body and lt2 mani have issues or just ported tbs
