Is that convertible top cover (can't remember the part name) factory? I'm thinking they are usually the color of the top?

You may be right. I keep looking at the extended forecast and so far it gonna be clear for the next 10 days....so we may be salt free for a little while longer.

Brine is down here in the counties north of Milwaukee (Sheboygan) in anticipation of the dusting of snow we re getting today, so Milwaukee is probably not far behind.

I am visiting your state this week, my daughter just moved here, and bought her first house.

As winter approaches I keep an eye on the changeable forecasts so as to be prepared for the first snowfall. Top up the tank, add Startron/Stabil, set up the battery tender etc., etc. Usually this happens between the last week of October and as late as Thanksgiving in my neck of the woods. This year my Camaro season ended on the earlier end. It was just a dusting but the anxious road crews coated the roads with salt and sand (which also contains small rocks). Spring seems so far away!

Never park it for longer than it takes for the last snow, today's for example, to clear

Live in Pittsburgh and I will be driving the Camaro year round. Have Blizzak tires and should have no problems. Not going to make payments on a car for four months with insurance so it can sit. Car is still going to depreciate rather you drive it or not.

I seriously want to move somewhere where it rarely gets below freezing.
