That's one option, I put it under the drivers seat to lower the center of gravity for better cornering on left hand turns.

All opinions are welcome. I told him about the Hemi Challenger and the Mustang and he said he couldn't imagine himself driving a Ford or a Dodge, the GM blood runs deep.

That's exactly what I told him when he called me the other night with his thoughts. I myself had the cancer bug bite me a year ago, caught early enough to have surgery to remove the bug, chemo as a follow-up treatment and I decided to buy my Z06 because I wanted to enjoy some of what I saved while I was able to.

Sorry to hear that at least you caught it early. I had skin cancer 20 years ago I was lucky as sh@t, I hurt my back couldn’t move went to the hospital. As usual you go to the doctors a couple weeks later he checked my back didn’t like what he saw removed a small spot on my back.
He said it just started to turn to cancer after the results came back,he caught it as early as possible.
Also told me once you have it once it usually comes back.
It didn’t come back yet, but watch yourself.
Now I got diabetes I inherited that, runs in the family, that’ll kill me before anything else does .

My FiL likes his. They are just a dime-a-dozen. In my small little town I see 4-5 each day, usually different ones, a few locals. A bashed up one was at the gas station when I was filling up the highlander today & saw 2 more on the 1 mile trip home. So common no one even notices them.

6th Gens, not so much. We have 2 ZL1’s & that’s it. Guy I know next town north just picked up his wife’s ZL1 Vert last week. That’s it. I can count on one hand all the ones I’ve seen from out of towners in the last two years where Dodges I don’t even bother to count.

I have no regrets and I cannot think on any cons as of yet on mine.

Tires will last about 15-16,000 miles, about $1500 to swap them out. Basically, maintenance is going to be the only down side as far as money goes. It’s only natural, the more you drive the more you pay. Other than that this thing is a beast all the way around!

You mean the Scatpack Challenger right? The standard R/T Challenger is too slow.

The Coyote Mustangs will blow standard R/T away.

If not a Challenger then an SS or Coyote Mustang.

Coyote, Scatpack, and SS all pretty much the same performance wise. The 5.0 might be slightly slower than the SS but there is a lot of aftermarket stuff for it to easily get it up to par.

If you wanna play, you gotta pay... If someone is concerned with the "cost of ownership", this is NOT the car for them... You buy a high performance Camaro because you WANT it, not if you are worried about expenses...

It all depends on the car. My 2012 GT cost wasn't bad. Only had to replace the tires, battery, oil changes. Otherwise no mechanical issues until the AC crapped out after 9 years recently but it's ran hard here in Southwest FL.

You can get a bad Honda Accord and all kinds of stuff can go wrong with it.

I can't believe tires going out after 15k though. Are you guys doing burn outs?

I have never got close to 15k or more from any of my rear tires on my modded trucks, or Vettes. 5k if i am lucky. The fronts last much longer. I am sure once i am over 500 miles on my new LT1 the rears will last maybe two years since i only put on around 2.5k miles a year. They may even go sooner and i plan non run flats once i replace them.
