I can't speak to this calibration, but I have the Autox calibration on my car (SS1LE) and it's real. We did some back to back tests with a stock unit across three cars in various states of prep with a great driver and the autox calibration was faster each time.

The guys working on these cars care, and there's no reason to think it isn't real.

When you are at the road track you use PTM modes.

This is activated by holding the button and turning everything off which is drag mode. It would make perfect sense to have this already included on 2020 +.

^^^This... I do not trust the dealer to just tell me it's there and probably the main reason I haven't done it.

Absolutely real and something we needed from the beginning. At least they did acknowledge and address it even if it was a bit late.

And FYI, there is no auto x update for the ZL1. Only this drag strip update.

Auto X uses PTM modes as well.

This is a drag update for "all off" drag mode and doesn't affect PTM used to autoX or road track.

However, the very experienced AutoX racers that use all off would get a nice benefit on this mod as well during launch. My car bogs like crazy starting off in autox or drag. I like they way they only implemented this for a single designated mode.

So, I have read about this for a while, but what does it actually do?

I always thought the best thing to do at a drag strip was turn everything off. So if you did do that, whats the point of this? Is it another PTM mode that gets added? Kind of surprised info on this is lacking.

if not mistaken it is supposed to allow more equally applied pressure to have the car leave straighter.

This update will help the car leave better off the line and more consistent. That's all.

People can try to go in depth with it but that's is what it'll do. Consistent better launches.

^^^ There you go... launch on the drag strip or launch in AutoX or launch on the street... it really doesn't matter.

I do like the fact that you have to hold the button down and turn all off to purposely get into this mode.
