Nothing wrong with loud. I've been to a few NASCAR races and refuse to wear ear plugs because that takes away from the experience of 42 cars x 800 hp with no mufflers

But in a neighborhood at night is a completely different story. And this is coming from a guy who plays guitar in the basement at that time.

Nope, I find that getting mad does no good at all. Getting even on the other hand can be very satisfying.

If that's true you're no better than him. That's the kind of ish that gets people in serious trouble. If the cops won't help you and there's video of his recklessness hire a lawyer. But damaging others property even if they're complete douche bags is not advised.

If he did find out he could file assault charges against you.

Reading comprehension brother. I said he almost hit my mailbox with my KID playing 15 feet away, as in my kid was 15 feet away from the mailbox, not the 300 15 feet away.

I went to his house and tried to explain he was endangering my kids.Got told to go F myself. Called the cops and was told there was nothing they could do. I felt my options were to whip his butt and go to jail. Fortunately when he did it again the next day I was sitting at my desk looking out the window.

I’m definitely not going to hire a lawyer in that situation, wtf would an attorney do other than take my money?

Back to the OP, the 300 is really loud, almost sounds like straight pipes. He revs it all the time. My buddy who took the video goes to work every morning around 4 am. His STI is loud too. I don’t much care about that although the 300 sounds a lot better than the STI.

As any car owner, I would. Guy sounds like a total douche. Same losers who need to rev the cars to the moon while driving through parking lots.

My SS is loudish and sounds awesome. But I actually respect other people too. No need to drown people out with noise in enclosed places or when they're trying to sleep.

I've had a neighbor here and there that was loud, but it primarily during the daylight hours. At least it was at a time when my daily norm wasn't one conference call after another taken from my home office...

What irritates the hell out of me nowadays is the Amazon drivers with their radios blaring and they leave the doors wide open while they're delivering to multiple units in the complex. If they aren't waking up the dead with their radio on 11, they're driving 40MPH through the parking lots.

I know I'm getting old now cause I'm trying to NOT be that asshole in the neighborhood. In my teens and 20s...hell yeah I was rocking that Flowmaster 40 series. Now, im looking for a "nice sounding" exhuast but not this straight pipe / crackling / raspy stuff.


as far as the neighbor, just go talk to him and explain your concerns.. best case he stops.. worse case he says to go point sand. Deal with it accordingly.

It isn't that you're getting old, it's that you're finally realizing that you aren't the center of the universe after dealing with all of the people that were inconsiderate of you over time. When we're young, we feel invincible and that everything revolved around us. We age, and we [hopefully] learn...
