With help from this forum I have been able to tune out 1st gear and get auto up shifts while wot in tutd mode. It is great for racing. I would like to program out 1st all the time.

None of the changes I am making to the other tables are getting the car to stay out of 1st gear while in any of the other shift modes. Am I doing something wrong?

Know this is an old post, but would like to see if you got it figured out. I have been working with the three TUTD tables for the purpose of launching in 2nd gear. Getting things pretty dialed in but was burned twice this past weekend by a downshift from M2 to M1 between the burnout and the stage. Didn't notice it, launched in 1st and blew the tires off. The tables had 8 mph in the 2>1 downshift slot. I have changed that to 1. Reluctant to put a zero. Have you tried 0?

No. Put a 1 in but haven’t tried it. Your idea sounds better.. Thanks!

Fwiw 1 just means it will down shift to 1st when it sees 1mph from the speed sensor. 0 means it will down shift to 1st when it sees 0mph. I don't see any condition that would see 318mph, that is usually the "disable" setting for the transmission adjustments. So in theory it should work but I haven't tried it yet.

Tried 318 and table would not take that input even though the range indicated was 0 to 318. Put in 0 but have not flashed that tune yet. Based on your logic of a number it will not see should work, then say, 100 should work. Still thinking.

0 will work on a 2019 ss but it will flash on the indactor 1 the 2 then 1 the 2 back and forth but takes off in second. Mine was kinda lazy takeing off in second.
