Most of y'all know that gen5diy does good work on their plug and play harnesses. Out of curiosity I emailed and asked if they could have a harness just for a Viofo dash cam that would drop the voltage and amps to the correct level.
Well after some back and forth emails explaining the technical needs, they pulled through with a pretty sweet harness that connects to the over head console.
This ended up saving me from having to run 10 feet of wire from a power source and or pinning into the connection myself. If you think of installing any dash cams, just give them an email .
