Move car without skid plate installed

Hey, is it okay to move the car without the skid plate? It had a lot more bolts and structure to it than I expected and not sure if there's any concerns.it's going to be going from one spot in my garage to another in my driveway without the skid plate attached.

I think I may know what the skid plate is (not sure), but I definitely don't know what the "escape blade" is--WTH is that? Maybe just a big typo trying to write skid plate again?

Escape blade sounds like something a Navy Seal would carry :-)

Skid plate? Im trying to figure out where that is on the car.

Are you talking about the front bumper protection thing? If so, maybe that does hold something's together but I've never taken it off.

If you're only moving it a few feet. Then I don't see it being a big deal.

This aluminum part, it actually had some decent sized bolts going through it, likely as a stiffener but not sure if there are issues moving car around without it. I assume no but doesn't hurt to ask.

I haven't looked at that one before but I would say you're ok moving it around like you are going to.

It looks pretty thick on where it widens.

Yea this is basically a chassis brace, it's no integral to the car's structure, though. It's mainly used for increasing the car's stiffness in corners for better handling. You're fine moving it around without it.
