HPTuners credits?
I’m sure this is probably the most basic question ever, but I can’t seem to find an answer for this anywhere.
I just had my car tuned by a tuner using hptuners and paid for the credits for the tune (4 I believe). If I were to decide I want to go with a remote tune or use another tuner and buy a mpvi2 to own, will I have to rebuy these credits to be able to tune the car? I was under the impression once the credits were purchased it would license the ECU and not the device. Am I wrong? |

At least you learned it before you tuned the TCM and FSCM.
![]() Besides, you need your own setup anyway for data logging.
