Need to confirm OE wheel specs....
ZL1 1LE
Looking to buy MRR FS06 wheels and the 2 quotes I've got are specifying different offsets. The first is : 19x10 5x120 23et and 19x11 43et* The second is: 19x10*+20 19x11 +43 Minor discrepancy in the front. Does anyone have a definitive clarification on this? |

Wow! Really? That's not even close to what they quoted me.
Buying wheels should be an enjoyable experience right? Evertime I go through this process, I get frustrated. I just don't get why it's so hard to replicate OEM dimensions. Not sure who to believe or to reference. What makes it worse is that I'm ordering from Canada. $1700 worth of wheels now becomes $2500 cad plus shipping. Returns are a nightmare. Gotta be right the 1st time. Guys.... Is there an official source that I can reference? |

Most manufactures make wheels to fit many different cars. If you want an oem spec wheel, Apex is going to be your cheapest option. All others will be custom wheels. Check out BC Forged & Signature Wheels. You can get a fully forged custom set for around $3500

Thanks for all the help.
I just got a quote from MRR for my beloved M228 rims. They want $4500usd! That's like $6300cad. That is a chunk of change - says the aluminum blanks for 12 inch wheels are very hard to source. I've sent a quote request to Apex for the same sizing. Hopefully they are more affordable. |

Just an update.... Ended up ordering 19x11 & 19x12 Apex ARC-8. Way more affordable, and Apex makes this wheel specifically for the 1LE. Plus right now they are 10% off!
Not the Z28 wheel I was looking for, but still a great looking rim from a company that seems to specialize in race applications. Pics to follow when they arrive. |
