Went on a nice cruise to support the Larz Andersen Auto Museum. Traveled from Bedford, MA to Amherst, NH and ALL back roads, of course. My acquaintances Ferrari tried to ditch me, and that sure as hell wasn’t happening.
 I also had to show Eleanor who was boss too.

Changed my brake pads over to power stops, until next year when I track my car again. Then new OEM pads going in.

At 700 miles, swapped out the Run Flat Eagle F1's to Michelin A/S 3+'s. Discount Tire took real good care of my wheels (took in off the car), phenomenal service. Not a single mark on the finish and used black weights per my request as I have the carbon flash painted variant. Probably would have done anyway, but always good to be sure.
Once home, before mounting, waxed the wheels with Meguiar's Ceramic Sealant to allow for easier brake dust cleaning. Took it for a short spin and the ride noise is a bit better, especially on bumps and certain types of concrete roadways. At least I can drive when it's a bit cooler now, without worry. |
