ZL1 1LE full throttle after apex
When the car first came out I rememmber that GM advertised the car can be tracked in a manner where you could mash the pedal to the floor after the apex and the computer would dole out power to come out of corners faster.
Has anyone done this?

PTM does a pretty good job of managing the power delivery, but I’m not convinced it’s faster. I’m heading back to the track next week, and plan to turn everything off to see how it compares with Race and S2. I was too chicken to try it last time, but I have more confidence in the car now after a few more days on track.

Tried this in PTM Sport 1 at 0.5 mile track up at Lime Rock. It works, it makes crazy noises, I don't need to do it again

It will also heat up your brakes, because it will apply them as part of the stabiltrack system, so be aware of that also

As I understand it, stability control is turned off in Sport 2 and Race PTM modes. Throttle and e-diff control only. I’ve done 5 track days so far with no brake rear brake issues.

I’ve done mostly Sport 1 on the track and you can definitely feel it limiting the power on exit, as you try to push the car harder.

Reminds me a car with a fuel injection issue and a need to make a trip to the dealer, lol. I wish they could make the system not sound so terrible, however it does work.

I never noticed unusual sound in S2 or R, just felt loss of power. Of course, I was usually pretty busy at the time....

OP, if the engine had a tongue to roll and it could roll it, that would be the sound it makes. |

I still don't have the guts to try it... ...there's this little voice in my head saying "what if it doesn't work?"
