Price question on my 2018 ZL1

Looks like I will be selling Wife’s retiring early and a motor home 🤮 is in our near future. What should I expect to get for her? 10274 miles garage queen, mint , auto , white, ceramic tint, etc. NO marks issues of any kind. Also I got the 7 year GM extended 100 deductible for it.
Input appreciated.

I would say (based on my selling exp on 2018 A10 recently) about 49-52k without warranty.

God not a motorhome. Just fly & stay in house rentals/ Hotels. It’s more than likely cheaper in the long run. Depreciation is on the low side $8K/ year & can be $13-15K or even more on higher end units if buying new.

With used you get all the crap than can go wrong with a diesel vehicle PLUS everything that can go wrong with a typical RV.

ZL1s have gone up in value, I checked the KBB PP value of my 2018 ZLE, 10k miles. It's significantly higher than when I checked a few months ago, basically same miles.

I may have to consider trading for a 2021 C8, but I've been collecting bargain price track tires during covid and I'll need at 4-6 track days to use them up.

Do you still get to keep all the other cars on the list or are they already gone? I can't imagine someone used to having cars like that would go cold turkey in an RV, you could threaten to get a 2021 CBR1000RR-R Fireblade as a replacement (that's a lot of Rs).

You should be able to get towards the top of the KBB private party value for your car. If you have a Carmax nearby see what they say. It’s a sellers market. But I would see soon before cold weather.

I hope GM announces early retirement of the ZL1 in 2022 and prices spike :-)

Imagine how much it would be worth if it was a 1LE with M6!?

$50-55K, and I would at least entertain an offer in the very high $40s as an opening position. Used car prices are very, very inflated due to COVID, but on the other hand, there are fewer buyers for sports cars in fall/winter. On the other hand, if you want to keep it and just tell your wife you tried to sell it, then by all means list it at $60K.

Why would u include the extended warranty? Sell the car, cancel that thing and get some of your money back.

I agree with Prometheus. I sell these warranties frequently and they rarely bring any value to the table. Most consumers are leery about aftermarket warranty companies and don't put much stock in them. I sold my 18 TRD Pro 4Runner with a 100K mile Toyota Platinum warranty and it did not help at all.
