It pretty much picked-up ZERO power (it was within the differences in back-to-back dyno' runs with no changes to the set-up). He did show it seemed to be a restriction when you venture beyond that power level, but unless you're making more power than that, or you just want more sound or different tips, you'd probably be better off putting that money elsewhere if you're looking for power.

To each their own, though...
That test doesn’t tell us anything definitive about the crimp. There’s a totally different catback used in their comparison and the crimp wasn’t even what he was testing. He was checking the differences between the entire catback assemblies. Any effect created by the crimp removal could have been mitigated by the differences in the 2 mufflers. This video and test doesn’t prove anything one way or the other for the question in this thread. It’s too bad he didn’t make some pulls with the crimp removal as the only change.

Nice, I like what you did there. I will most likely just remove mine completely but I like yours.

So if an ENTIRE catback that is LARGER in nearly every way, and has the potential to flow considerably more gas is completely baseless, than I guess that's what it is. What - you think that because it's not A-to-B that it's not relevent? OK... It's interesting why so many shops use the stock catback in so many builds, too... At least I have something to show for my opinion. What dyno tests do you have? Do whatever you like.

At any rate- let us know how that works out. I hope the mod' yields what you're looking for.

It has. The crimp is gone.
