I tried the rotofab, cai cai, and jlt. The jlt improved manifold air pressure significantly over them both. I tried rotofab with the stock and rf elbow. I think the lack of an airflow straightener on the jlt is noticeable at low maf ha when tuning ( approx under 2,000 rpm). The fitment on the jlt isn’t as good as the rotofab or the cai, but they are smaller units. I would say it is worth half a tenth to a tenth over rotofab when running the msd/95mm combo. If you’re looking for all out performance I would not hesitate to try the jlt

I have the JLT. Switched from the CAI intake. Was running msd/95mm ported. The JLT made a very noticeable improvement all the way around. Had to update my tune.
Extremely happy with it. |

I love JLT. They are mostly known for their Mustang intakes and catch cans. I ran a JLT intake on my 5.0 with a Lund tune it it ripped. Over on the 5.0 forums the JLT is the most popular like the rotofab is here for us camaro guys.
If you DO buy one, it DOES need a tune and I would NOT run this intake without one.... For this reason ONLY did I go with rotofab. I believe, however, the JLT will REALLY out perform and shine above all others if you had heads, cam, MSD, headers, tune, etc...its a massive intake lol |

That would be nice especially since I'm now doing a 427 stroker build and would like to get as much airflow as I can.

IMO you should run the 5” jlt until others start offering 5” cais. That will show more gains than my lbo car. The rotofab is a little nicer of a unit but much expensive.

I'm surprised this isn't a more popular option for heads cam or fbo ported mad 95/103tb guys. I know 5.0 guys are big on them, I didn't know they made an lt1 cai.

You have to multiply the maf curve with a correction factor, also I wouldn’t hesitate to reach out to JLT, they actually have a helpful support channel

Yea I see in the other post you said you added a 1.25 multiplier. Did you just multiply the whole maf airflow vs. output frequency table by 1.25? Im going to also speak with them they are local to me.

You need a wideband to track commanded vs actual error. I remember it being AROUND 1.25 then you add/subtract along the curve to reduce error and get it to where you want it. Do not make changes to your maf curve without checking it
