Basically I want a good streetable reliable car on 93 pump. I don’t track it at all, otherwise I would of went much further. Complete street performance in PA is doing the work and Andrew says he should be able to get 700-710 on his dyno (safely). It baseline @ 580 wheel with the cai only last year. I want to see what the difference is from 580 to 700rwhp and it’s possible I may just put a cam in it over the winter.

I’m
Also not to fond of meth, I’m
A bit scared if something doesn’t work right at WOT.

Look at a water injection system is an insurance policy. It does give you more leeway for enrichment & timing, but it doesn’t necessarily have to be tuned that way. That way if something does go wrong with it you’re still safe & conversely if you get a bad tank of fuel you have a little detonation threshold.

How many people actually have them doing what you are doing, not sure. I used them & have not used them, but I understand the benefits in certain applications. It is on my list of parts that I would install on a similar set-up as you are planning.

I say 700-710whp on mustang dyno and 720-730whp on dynojet. Should be plenty. Add a cam and be about 800whp easily.

Yeah I’ll see how goes in 2 weeks. I’m
Sure 700rwhp will be all over the place on stock tires, cant imagine 800.

The bigger fuel lobe on a cam is enough to push it to 800rwhp without meth or any low side fuel booster?

No way is he doing that with the stock fuel system and no Meth, mine ran out of fuel around the 700 hp level.

I just had a cam installed to my build few days ago. It had ported heads headers intake alky meth and dsx low side . I was paranoid of the meth pump failing at WOT and loss of engine so i had a stage 2 cam installed and turned off the methanol. On 93 The car was fast but now its insane! I believe im done with power and now just focusing on seat time as its a very violent/ earth moving feeling at WOT .i believe you will be happy with the set up

With low side voltage booster it is very common to make 850whp.

I’m using stock ported SC, cam and meth and make 780whp. It is plenty.

The difference especially with the Maggie 2650.
The cam changes the fuel lobe, and gives you more fuel.

Hi thanks, that I was aware of . I just wasn’t sure how much rwhp it can handle before fuel becomes an issue again.

I will probably see how I like the power with no cam, and if need more I’ll bring it in over the winter.

Anyone have any exp with the JMS POWERMAX V2 low side voltage booster? Friend of mine just mentioned it to me. Will this safely help increase fuel to maximize the hp without adding a cam?

I am curious about this as well. I am at the end of my low side fuel system when I am running E85 (really E66 out of the pump).

Are these voltage boosters reliable and trouble free?

I have no experience with the booster but from what I’ve read it the low side assists the high. I still don’t think you will make much more that 700whp without a cam.

FYI, you are still going to make crazy power. Traction will be more of an issue than power.

This is a loaded question. Yes I have one and it works great. However It all boils down to what type of fuel you want to run and how much power you want to make.
