There are even variances with in their own cars. Here is an RPM built m6 that made 557whp on 93 supposedly. Different builds different specs possibly.

Did I not post that? I am on E85 - actually more like E77 though. It's the flex fuel stuff from Sheetz here in NC, which averages 74-78% I'd say.

For starters the cam specs look odd for NA. Looks like a blower grind. Also you need a Ported 95mm tb minimum. I would also ditch the K&N for a Rotofab. If you want to make Pray power then use Pray's combination of parts.

There are some other variables too.

A8 vs M6. A8 shows 20whp difference between 5th and 6th gear pulls. M6 dynos 10 whp higher or so over a A8 in 6th.

Drag radials dyno lower then street tires.

Tuner...just because you had it tuned twice doesn't mean much unless it was tuned by one of the few competent Gen 5 LTx tuners across the country.

And likely one of the biggest factors...Different dynos. All dynos read different even with SAE correction. I wouldn't expect to see a 75whp difference on 2 different dyno jets between the same combination but I could see there being a 20whp difference easily.

All that being said if you addressed some of these things above, I wouldn't be surprised if your combination hits at least 550whp.
Thanks, good info. And you're right it is a blower grind. My initial conference with the builder I stated I wanted to procharge it eventually. They said this cam would work OK for NA but even better for boost. Your post gives me a lot of items to target to get the most out of what I have though so it's appreciated! The K&N is up for sale locally now. I'll save for the larger TB but I am saving for wheels and tires for the strip right now.

My bad, did not see you had E listed.

Happens all the time. I've worked part time at a dyno/speed shop for the last decade and have seen massive differences simply from spraying the tires with belt dressing. Might want to ask your guy to do that next time if you've got any reservations. It can make a big difference.

I hear ya - right now I have the parts I have - too expensive to replace. I think I am good with the nitrous numbers though, I can always go up from there ;-) I think many good points have been made and it makes sense to me now. I appreciate everyone's thoughts, this really did help me understand. If I had to do it all again, I would have had them gap my rings, then boost the hell out of it with a procharger and call it a day. Lessons learned lol
