Yeah, my C6 grand sport was easy to control and hoon around in. Yeah it was slower but in some ways I miss it just for the ease of control it had vs the C7 Z06. The Z06 is the first car I've owned where I've said the car has too much power for what it is used for. I'm sure for track guys or bragging rights the standard 650 isn't enough but for what I use it for it's too much to have fun in safely. I felt the ZL1 was more confident inspiring and what I probably should have gotten back then instead. Not that I don't enjoy my Z06, it's a bad ass car, I just wish I could use 100% of it without worrying about traction problems. I didn't feel that way with the ZL1 if that helps at all

This is with traction control left on. This is my experience using the car as a daily driver, so traction control is always on when driving on the streets. Essentially in sport mode. I've only taken traction control off once and that was at the drag strip. Needless to say with traction control off it spun sooo much worse. And I didn't even launch the car off the line. I left the line at idle and rolled on throttle slowly. Never even made it to redline. Short shifted into 2nd hoping to gain traction which it did until I hit about 5k rpm and then the back end started swaying side to side. Went into third early. Ran 13.1 if I remember correctly. With traction control left on it was still difficult to gain traction but was running high elevens.
