I had my black wheels coated with CQuartz Professional. It makes them so much easier to clean. Hose gets most of the dust inside and out, Wheel Woolies get the rest.

I tried Reload on my car and it's "ok." I could use it on the wheels as well, but I'm not sure yet.
Gotcha... I wash my wheels good with wheel cleaner and brush every time I wash the car. Plus normally I will get the car out and just wash the wheels because of the dust but the car doesn't need to be washed, so I just do the wheels.

Yeah the brake dust the factory brakes generate is insane. I was ready for a little but man my wheels are soot gray after a day or two after washing them. Definitely not prepared for that.

Thing is, my Mom has a 2016 Corvette with the Z51 package. That gives you 6 piston Brembos up front and 4 piston Brembos in the rear. Substantially beefier brakes than the stock Camaro SS. Yet hers do not generate near as much as mine do, and she has the chrome wheels which I polish by hand on my butt once a month!

I changed the pads and the rotors with the power stops at 20,000. I also drive hard and these brakes are fantastic. No regrets, brake dust almost non existent.

You would say you don't notice any difference between power stops and OEM?

Fair warning, opinions vary widely on the loss of braking capability with the PowerStop pads, ranging from almost indistinguishable to much worse in hard braking scenarios. There are a few comparison test videos on youtube, but I haven't found anything remotely scientific.

I for one don't mind the dust and enjoy the performance of the stock Ferodo pads.

Ya, I'm already beginning to see that just from the replies to this thread. I'll check out the youtube videos just for kicks... but like I mentioned earlier, I think I'll just stick with the OEM for performance.

Evidently you didn't read my post. You need to get the Carbon Ceramic pads instead of the Ceramic pads which are the ones that most have had issues with in regards to reduced stopping power.

I put the Powerstop pads on the front and rear. No brake dust. I have no stopping issues whatsoever. I drive my car hard but dont track it. I recommend them. You get a good deal from Amazon if you buy the drilled and slotted rotors with the pads.

I highly recommend the Z26 pads. I swapped out the pads and kept the stock rotors. My rims have the red strips so it's really noticable on mine and now there's maybe a quarter of the brake dust as stock pads. I don't notice any difference when driving. I've even had several panic stops to avoid deer and it stopped just as well as the stock pads. I imagine running the car on a track would make it more noticeable but daily driving, even hard, is fine.
