I wouldn’t mind doing a few laps at Road America or take my boys to a strip a time or two some time.

We have a local airport run that’s bi-annual. First one was cancel cause of the kung-flu, but they’re having the fall one here soon. It’s an 1/8 mile single passes type thing. May do that.

Good points, but I didn't buy this car to profile, i enjoy kicking M, Mustang, Challenger, and ricer ass thoroughly, and you aren't going to break the motor in putting around. To seat the rings it needs bursts of full throttle, and I'm happy to oblige

Invest in a quality radar detector like the new Escort Redline 360C (wifi updates are a great feature on these), they do help https://www.escortradar.com/products...t_redline_360c

No tickets in 8 years and I haven't slowed down at all, just more aware

I enjoy a little spirited driving every now & then. There’s a time & place.

Plus I live in a rather rural area. Not the meca of street racing by a long shot. Plenty of back country roads to enjoy some twisters, problem is deer walking out in front of you.

I had no idea the threshold plate was backlit. That’s pretty neat.

Well if you like that, you might want to get the interior footwell lighting accessory pack (part number 23248208, see https://www.gmpartsdirect.com/oem-pa...hting-23248208), it's not too expensive and gives you spectrum (color) footwell lights. If you check down there in the footwells, you can see or feel the rectangular cutouts for the RGB LED lights in this package.

I have this and it looks very good, not super bright but definitely improves interior ambience.

I don’t have my spectrum lighting on anymore on the door panels and other parts of the interior. Looks much better to me in my ZL1!
