APEX, ARC-8s

Evening,

Is anyone running the square setup 19x11 on their non-1LE ZL1. Considering this for future track wheels. Any information is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I was thinking in running the same wheels also on a square setup. What size tires are you wanting to run?

Here is APEX response to the same question,

Hi Tony, thanks for reaching out. I'm happy to report that 19x11" ET11 does fit up front on your ZL1 with little to no mods. If you're running max or close to max negative camber up front, a 3mm spacer is usually needed to push the tire off the strut since dialing in negative camber via the factory adjustment reduces inner wheel clearance. Generally, if you're running -2* or less, no spacer is needed. In either case, a 3mm spacer has zero issues on the factory wheel studs and works great on the track or street.

I additionally ask them if they would be interested in a group buy. Waiting for that response, will post when I have more information.

APEX response on group buy,

I would love to do another Camaro ARC-8 Group Buy, but to be honest we don't have the inventory available to pull that off anytime soon. We, like most businesses, were hit pretty hard with production delays these past few months which made many Group Buys not possible.

That said, depending on what finish you're interested in the 19x11" ET11 is currently on sale for Satin Bronze and Satin Black due to them being out of stock at the moment. We do have Anthracite in stock and ready to ship. It shows the rears are out on the site, but we just got more in so it hasn't updated.

Who offers a 3MM spacer for our cars? Anyone have a particular favorite?

I've been using the ZL1 Addons 3mm spacer for the last year and it's been great.

I’m running 19 X 11s on the front (305s) and 19 x 12s on the back (325s). My understanding is that PTM does not like a square setup on the ZL-1.

Interesting, I was under the assumption 325s won't fit on the non1LE ZL1. I know the wiring harness on the driver's side needs to be moved, but I thought the widest you could go is 315s.

The fit on the 325s is perfect on the rear. I’m using a 3 mm spacer on the fronts due to the track alignment. Great setup you really notice the difference on the track with the increased traction patch.

Great, thanks for the info! I was going to do the 3mm spacer upfront as well.

Lots of 305/30R19 tires available.. Would 10.5 et +30 square wheels work on a zl1 with +20mm bolt on front spacer ?

Well, I have decided to go with the 19x11 and 19x12 setup. I think it will be great to get a little more tire patch on the ground during track days. Not available until Oct, but that is okay.

Is this confirmed that a square setup messing with the PTM or any other electronics on the car?
