ARH Catless to stock NPP rasp

I’ll be installing the ARH headers with a catless midpipe and going back to the stock NPP from the Borla ATAK due to volume. I’m just wondering if anyone has been able to reduce the rasp of the stock NPP with a small resonator? I was thinking about throwing a 12” Vibrant resonator on each side. Do you think that will reduce a lot of the rasp and keep the volume?

Yes many have had this issue and have installed resonators to help, myself included.
Just the pair of 12” resonators might not be enough though. For me it was still too loud and raspy with my AWE system.
So also installed 2 more 24” resonators further back in the tunnel.
Now with the 4, I’m good to go.
It’s moderate with normal acceleration, but very aggressive sounding too.
Does get pretty dang loud when going over 50% thottle, but not too much for me.
A popular setup around here too is to use the magnaflow resonated X-pipe in the tunnel. That will take it even one more step quieter and the least amount of rasp.
So all 3 help, you just have to decide what level you want to go with.

I really appreciate you taking the time in explaining the differences. I’m either thinking about trying the stock NPP with 12” resonators or just biting the bullet and buying the Corsa NPP and being done with it.
