Installed JLT Oil Separator

Yesterday evening I installed the JLT 3.0 Oil Separator. A little more work due to the strut tower brace, but, it fits just fine. The separator is hardly noticable once the strut tower brace is back in place.

I like my JLT unit. I am able to unscrew the bottom dump it out and get back to driving. Just make sure you don't over tighten the canister. First time I took it off it was a bitch to get off.

For sure.

I had an early design JLT oil separator set-up on my GT500 years ago (two separators). I kept the cannister threads lubed with a little anti-seeze and would put a little oil on the o-ring too.

I've done the same with the separator on the Camaro.

Easy peazy, one of my first mods, and strut brace fits no problem

I haven't checked but I have only driven maybe 150 miles.

With an NA engine, I don't expect much especially since I drive kind of easy.

Oil collected after about 375 miles, maybe a teaspoonful.
