I think so.. I was thinking about maybe taking it to my buddies shop, but I watched a few videos and I think I can handle it.

So I called my local dealer for the GMPP bushing and they where out of stock obviously, but i asked if there was a way to check inventory on other dealers. They told me yes so he found only 1 dealer in Utah with it in stock. I called them up and boom tbey had it. So hopefully by next week I'll have the bushing.

Congrats! Now you'll have to also give your input on the install

Definitely will was thinking on a YouTube video but I haven't done one so not sure it would be good. Maybe just a write up.

Great info in this thread. Now I want to upgrade..

However, the BMR BK062 Delrin Lock Out Kit appears to be sold everywhere. Does anyone know where it is available to buy now? Or provide another worthy alternative?

My .02 stick with the GM Aluminum 1LE OEM set. No compromises!

I believe www.gmperformancemotor.com, typically has them in stock.

They order something like 20+ sets at a time.

Good Luck with the install!

Best regards,
Dave

My question is, if there’s no downside, why don’t all models come with them from the factory?

There is a downside: GM’s beancounters.
