Yes, message pops up at 19 MPH, just run another moment to 20+ and you are good to go. Just going to neutral for a moment will also deactivate it. Going by RPM is ok too, I just find MPH on the HUD is easier to know when the gate is "free to shift" without looking elsewhere.

I have 1700 miles with it and I just ignore it, rev past and shift as always. I don't even bother to acknowledge the message anymore.
Never hit a gate lock yet.....

It just seems like it kicks in more frequently than it does on my C7. On my C7, I have to be very, very granny driving to trigger it.

Sometimes the message pops up but I can still shift into 2nd. Very confusing.

Finally got rid of the ugly reverse lights in yellow. LED for the win...

Bought them from iJDMtoy.com No harness needed. Has resistor in line, attached it behind headlight and thats it

Were these ones easy to put in? I assume you access everything through the trunk? Where/how did you mount the resistor?

Took like 30 minutes. Just go behind the tail lights. Mounted resistor right behind reverse light. 2 way tape attached to metal.

It's a ZL1 Splitter like the one from Ikon. I purchased it a year ago and it came painted black to match the car. Can't find the exact one anymore but here's a link to something similar https://www.ikonmotorsports.com/fits...-print-pp.html
