Should the Knight Rider reboot be a Camaro?

Knight Rider is being rebooted again.

Should kitt be a Camaro or some other car?

My opinion is there is no way to make this show not stupid so I guess there are no wrong answers. As a society, we accepted transformers so I guess this is our fault.

I think it should be a heavily modified hybrid Camaro.

All wheel drive, and instead of turbine booster... An experimental hyper capacitor that can surge the electric motors to 300mph for short periods.

Interior would be totally different. Would have to have some crazy augmented reality windshield too.

Honestly, I think the C8 would be an awesome choice. It's so futuristic looking and would be good marketing for GM(not that the C8 needs it though).

I was thinking c8, but they would never be able to damage it on the show and it would be hard to find another car that could stand-in for it that was cheaper.

cgi'ing that would get expensive fast.

Though, the limited quantities of both cars on the road probably means too high of a price tag.

If i was being practical, the only choice is a Charger that's close to pony car. I mean you could do a mustang too, but it would just kill too many extras trying to fill the sidewalks and drive the studio insurance up.

I still haven't gotten past the Mustang being used as KITT. But after thinking about it, I think a blacked out C8 Corvette with tan interior would be fantastic. It has the right look, right lines, and it does look sinister in black. With black wheels? Yes. That could definitely be KITT.

Anyone with photoshop skills, can you make a C8 in all black with black wheels and tan interior?

nah,

smokey and the bandit drive a used BMW M4 and basically drive like bmw drivers.

The whole show is them thinking they're outlaws but in reality everyone is just trying to avoid crashing into them because they refuse to use their gdamn blinkers and try to take highway exits at the last possible minute from 2-3 lanes over.

The Mustang kitt image is missing torn clothing and blood splatter on the grill. Also that shot should have been in front of a starbucks right before he inexplicably takes kitt sideways into a median that wasn't in front of him.

The whole show is just kitt running over people, racing absolutely everyone who looks like they're under 30 and male at every light and starting the day trying to create new youtube videos coming out of coffee shops and running over any pedestrians / bystanders within 50 ft of the car.
