Thinking about painting my rock guards to match the mosaic black aero before installing (also planning to get a splitter extension and do the same; only on the "viewable" area though; not the bottom of the splitter extension, and not the inside of the wheel well for the rock guards since it'd be a waste of paint). ZL1addons said none of their products are paintable without prep...so I'm trying to figure out the prep necessary. I am by no means an experienced painter in this regard...or any regard for that matter.
I'm thinking I might be able to just sand and prime, then paint, but not really sure, so wanted to get ya'lls take on it.

I can of course keep them the regular color, but I'm planning a shitload of color matching (mosaic black mirrors and spoiler, OEM Z/28 wheels to more closely match the mosaic, and am even painting some emblems to color match), so I'm thinking it'd look pretty slick to make the zl1addons stuff align with the color of the aero itself.

Thoughts?
