Wow! A lot of not so nice people here. Sorry for not knowing the terminology and definitions known to the drag racing world. Maybe instead of attacking people and trying to make them feel stupid, people should simply explain things. But, I guess it’s easier and more fun to drag people down. I simply DID NOT KNOW that 9.94 is the same as 9. Damn people! Grow up! It would have been very simple to say something like, “just to let you know, In the world of drag racing, anything in the 9’s is considered a 9 second run.” The end. These forums should be used to educate people, answer questions, show off your cars, etc. But, if insulting people makes you feel like a better person, I guess you have to do what you have to do.

As stated, if it’s ran a 9.01 or a 9.99, it’s a 9sec car, more finely designated by low, mid or high. The obvious reason being is that it says 9.xxx. Yes, as a whole, drag racing is easier to get started in, but that doesn’t make being a good drag racer “easy”. It takes years of experience to be proficient at the various aspects of the car & the race/ run itself. The slightest mistake can cost you tenths of a second, or more. Track conditions themselves can be paramount as well. |
