We can show some cat videos for the practical folks.

Cool! People keep asking my why I prefer my LT1 over my ZL1. For you it was the bad ass looks of the C7. I am also not a fan of the C8, not that I should even be considering one. However I do understand the attraction. If I ever get a Vette it will be a C7 but for different reasons. I like the motor up front and only want a manual in my fun car. And it is the front-engined Corvette epitome of development.

But not unless I can also keep my Camaro.

I used the 2020 Camaro 2SS as a test ride vehicle before buying my '16 2SS. I had zero issues with a 2020 and would have bought one if I had not found the one I was looking for. I really wanted the Hyper Blue... I love what GM did with the panoramic review mirror image. I sure wish I could get that in my car.

You can upgrade your 2019 to a rear view camera mirror. I don’t see why it wouldn’t upgrade a 2016 but not 100% sure.

Hmm, I'd like to get some confirmation. I'd have to check into the cost for sure too.

Doesn't the HD view require the dual cameras? I don't think those were present until 2019?

Ya, the very first comment in that video says it's not compatible with 2016-2018

My 2020 has 2 cameras. One on trunk one on wing

Those are the dual cameras I am talking about. I believe you have to have both to get the HD view, and I didn't think they were present until the 2019 model year (which would mean that you wouldn't have a way to get the HD View on earlier model years).

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think one is the backup camera and the other is the rearview camera that is sent to the rearview mirror.

This is correct. Trunk is backup, wing is rear view camera
