Quick headers question!
Have a 19' ZL1, currently just have an intake and a catback on it, I ordered a set of 2" Kooks LT headers and was wondering if I'd be robbing myself of low end torque for the time being, I'd be getting the car tuned and if that's able to eliminate that at least a little. I have the opportunity to RMA this set and exchange for the 1 7/8th inch set, would you guys recommend I do that for the time being? Or would I be able to get away with this set without obliterating my low end torque? I've tried to get in contact with some people online/on youtube who run 2 inch headers without a pulley or anything just to see their dyno graphs or get their opinion but haven't been able to get a response quite yet.

This car makes so much low-end it may not even be noticeable. What you might loose, though, you would likely gain back in the entirety of the powerband.
It depends on your intent with the car down the road, IMO. If you know you're going to be adding power, I don't know why you wouldn't go with the 2" tubes. Even if you don't add more power later, I don't know why you wouldn't go with the 2" tubes. What I know is with the testing I've seen, I wouldn't accept much clout to anyone saying I need back pressure in my exhaust... To each their own...

That sounds good to me, I appreciate it. As long as the car doesn't feel sluggish low end or my 0-60 isnt affected etc I'll stick with the 2inch, down the line sometime next year I want to do pulleys cam etc so I agree I think in the long run this should be better. Sorry if this is a dumb question I'm relatively new to modifying these cars or cars in general.

LTs and a good dyno/street tune will raise the torque curve in range where it counts. Zero worries.

Thanks a lot, I was kinda going nuts I really didn't want to have to RMA and mess with trying to get a new set. I contacted Kooks directly and they said I'd be fine, Phastek said there's no longer any fitment issues with the 2 inch set, and that I should be fine as well. I feel a lot better about it now.
