Anyone have the data for the two vehicles. Top speed ?

tops speed in 10 speed auto with 2.85 gearing is 279.86, top speed with 3.73 gearing (6 speed rear end) is 213.84

I have a chart for both rear ends and max speed in each gear (for the a10, I haven't done anything for the 6 speed), but I spent the past 10 minutes trying to post the spreadsheet, which is unreadable

However the 6 speed will never reach anywhere close to 213 mph due to aerodynamic drag...

This is true for both I think, especially the zle

ive read everything from 198 to 202 w/ the standard ZL1, and I forget what it was for the ZLE, I want to say like 179 due to the aero.

I've read this as well. in the end, you'll be drag limited, even if you have more hp than stock. Especially on the zl1's due to more air getting into the engine bay

you could tape up all the holes and see how fast you'd go, but I bet you'd cause way more issues to the powerplant before you even get to top speed.

Oh geez, when I looked at that I read "179.86" which matches what I have heard for the A10 top speed of about 180...

the fastest I've ever been was 210.1, me driving (and that's according to the math done afterwards, as the speedo needle was bouncing off of the odometer reset button which was ~240). that was on another level of putt buckering. I do not want to do that again, nor do I have a desire to.

but back in the day, I was only vaguely familiar with tire ratings and just the plethora of things that can go wrong at those speeds that cause you to become 7 different flavors of liquid.

honestly, as long as my car throws me back into the seat like I owe it money, I'm good.

dang. I did 185 in a Huracan the other day.. it actually felt super stable and smooth. That was almost scary because I wanted to go faster. That was the fastest I've ever been. haha
