Not sure if you're agreeing or disagreeing with me then :-) If you're saying affordable sports cars are owned by younger guys who tend to be irresponsible that fits with my experience--this demo with lower income/net worth is a majority of the sports car owner population.

People who can afford more expensive sports cars (rich people) are a very small % of the population and tend to be older and more responsible.

But in LA where I live, and other places like Miami, NYC, etc. there is another segment of very rich, or at least higher income, guys who own Lambos, McLarens, M5/M3, GTR, etc. many of them highly modded and with ridiculous sounding exhaust popping tunes, who spend their time doing burnouts all day up and down Ventura Blvd and around Beverly Hills. This is not a small group, they are effing everywhere.

Speed kills but most of you don't want to discuss this. Police Cams at every stop light. Go ahead spend your $. Deeper in debt then see what happens when C19 amps up and then what will you do? Job loss or hard times. Life can come at you real quick. Divorce? She gets your beloved Z then what? Think what could happen. Hope for the best and be prepared for the worst. Perhaps this resonates with some of you. I sure hope so!

You sound scarred and jaded. Might I suggest a phycologist to talk about your problems.

Huh? Not in most states

Also, modern radar detectors like the Escort 360c can pinpoint locations of stuff like this

Sounds like you recently got busted for a big fine/suspension. I've been there, but hasn't slowed me down at all, I drive safe, and haven't had been pulled over in 5+ years. You have to know when and where

In populated areas, Waze is far better than any radar detector. I always use Waze and at least in the Bay Area, it is VERY accurate.

A user based system is always king. It is used in the aviation world a lot, pilots report actual weather conditions, it's far better than any automated forecast.

Awesome thanks for sharing.

You know what. I’m gonna continue ripping around in my car. If I get pulled over and in trouble then so be it. I’m a safe driver. Its part of my living.
I’ve been through those hardships you bring up aside from killing somebody. All of them including losing one of my Z’s.
I can tell you this......Speed isn’t the only killer. I’ve seen enough bodies in my lifetime to realize that it isn’t the only killer.
I’m gonna continue to enjoy my life and enjoy my car that I spent good hard earned money on.
And I hope my fellow members here are gonna do the same. You live once.

Today the weather is great out finally. I’m going to pick up this hot chick I’ve been talking to. She lives a bit of a distance away. I’m going to back road it for some tire burning fun.
My shifts are gonna be harder than usual just for you Yessa. It’s no lift shift day until I pick the girl up. But it’s back to no lift shift day after I drop her off. Time for some fun

Maro 89. Whatever you choose you are going to love it. You can’t go wrong either way. I chose a ZLE. That was my decision and I don’t regret it at all.
Holy f*** am I gonna have some fun today!!!!!

Cancer kills, heart attacks kill, drunk driving kills, diseases kill, etc, devastating things are a fact and real ! But life can be joyful, life can be fulfilling, family's important , living life to the max is what it's about. God is real ! Be safe, and wise, but dont live life saying I wish I would have done this or that ! Or like the commerical when the guy at the gas pump tells his grandkids in the mini van, I could have got a harley motorcycle like that guy at the other pump, but I got your grandmother a china set ! LOL !!!

The Escort 360c updates speed traps from the Escort community via wi-fi, it's pretty slick. I really don't want to be looking at my phone while driving and waze is kind of cartoonish

Listen, most people don't buy a 650HP car and not use some of the HP. Heck most add more HP. The problem is your coming across pretty negative. Everything is going to be okay and enjoy your car the way you see fit.

STOP! Speed doesn’t kill. Lack of braking does.
