ZLE Splitter Color
Hey guys,
What color should the ZLE splitter be on a black ZL1 1LE? I ask because I used to own a Riverside Blue and it was matte black. My new car was just delivered from out-of-state and it's the same color as the body (shiny black). I plan to have it wrapped in matte film to match the mirrors and rockers, but wanted to know if this is defect? Thanks in advance. Eric, |

Mine is a matte black, my car is black and the splitter and lower rockers are all matte black. IS the car new? Could it be wrapped with a shiny wrap?

Many 2019 ZLEs had an error with splitter and rocker paint and came in shiny finish. You may get it corrected under warranty IIRC

On the ZLE the splitter, side skirts, mirrors & rear diffuser are all painted satin black

There was a thread about a year ago about this. To my knowledge the splitter was not involved in that. Reason being the ZL1 and ZLE don't share the same splitter. But do share the same rockers. |

ask mlee...he has a car with the gloss black mistake. I believe he left his gloss.

I have the gloss black and left them so far.
Undecided if I want a factory special or change it to match the original planned look. |

I appreciate the replies everyone. I checked to see if I had a recall, but doesn't appear I do. I'm hoping the matte film will fix it.
