But, the HID headlights on my 2018 are plenty bright. I have only driven her a few times after dark, but there is plenty of light.
Put in some 5500K aftermarket bulbs and the stock HID is even better.

5500K gets you the color temp of a LED, but is brighter than stock and has a better beam pattern.

Comparatively speaking, the muscle cars of today, in what may be the twilight of their existence, are stunning achievements in mechanical and electrical engineering.

Well said - who knows how long 650 hp big displacement IC engine cars will be available, probably not long. Dead in Europe - hence you have a slew of ultra high boost 2, 3 and 4L engines that will be lucky to get past 100k without losing compression if driven hard. The LT4 should easily outlast them

Not driving a Tesla, sorry. Too heavy, at least right now.

Yep, that was another factor for me, and replacement tires cost more for the 1LE. The 1LE looks pretty wicked in black or grey though

If you arent tracking the car at all skip the 1LE and PDR. Just my opinion... You will find lots of them on this forum especially about the 1LE comfort levels/DD capabilities.

Interesting questions - what are you trying to decide and what is important in making your decision?

I can attest 1st hand to how quickly the SC3R tires on the ZLE wear out. After 1500 easy break in miles mine were about 50% worn out. I just changed them out to the Kuhmo Ecsta V720 ACR 355/30-19 rears and 305/30-19 fronts. Definitely a nice change from all the rocks being picked up and flung under the car. They look amazing too. The SC3Rs are so soft that small rocks will literally embed themselves into the tire. Great for track, horrible for the street. I went for the ZLE because of the aggressive look. And mine will be mostly street driven, but when opportunity presents I will definitely track, autox, and drag race the car. Get the one that puts the biggest shit eating grin on your face. You won't regret either one.

I have driven both. Lots of nit picks (fog lights, lack of review mirror camera in 1LE, etc) but to me it is really down to a few major points.
1. 1LE add track suspension, tires and aero. If you are not tracking, these are complete downsides even though they are cool to say you have them. On most streets they are probably slower than the non 1LE due to overly stiff suspension and perpetually cold tires.
2. Suspension. Did I mention that. Dang the 1LE is stiff. ZL1 mag ride is awesome on the street.
3. 1LE has shorter 6th gear which is nice to me, but maybe not so nice if you do lots of higher speed highway.
4. Solid rear cradle bushings on 1LE are really nice from factory....wish I had those, but I do intend to track my non-1LE and they are a PITA to install

Other differences are minor. If the price was the same I'd still get the non 1LE even though I am tracking a few times a year mostly due to mag shocks being suited to quick street driving vs. 1LE needing a smooth track to feel at home.

My perfect mix would be mag suspension, 1LE aero, 1LE wheels but with SC3 tires, solid rear subframe, and shorter 6th. Oh and give me those red calipers for some bling.

5. yes maintenance is the same, if you dont plan to track, get the regular ZL1
How did the tires treat you?

Thank you everyone for all of your helpful replies and to those who have corrected me on the car having DRL’s instead of fog lights thanks again my mistake.

I really like my 1LE; as long as the roads arent too bad. It is a much harsher ride than the standard ZL1 with mag ride. In the 1LE, I can feel and hear every bump in the road.

Hmm actually not sure if I should get PDR or not. I would have to do some research on it. I did hear someone mention that it can recorder your conversations in the car whether it’s on or off?? Forgive my lack of not knowing much about it just going on based off what I heard.

Oh I meant if the two cars have the same creature comfort amenities in both and not lacking in either one. For an example how the 5th gen Z28 was lacking in what the 5th gen ZL1 had. From seeing both cars inside, the interiors and amenities looked the same I assume they both have everything equipped the same from factory. I checked out your channel good videos!

Well that’s another deciding factor for me between the two transmissions but I think I will probably go with the A10 for either car. I hear die hard manual guys sticking with the A10 and most people raving about how good it is so maybe that might be the way to go.

Also I didn't want the monster wing because of the added drag for high speed grudge kills and more unwanted attention from the cops
I hear ya about the unwanted attention from the cops lol. As far as the wing, the added drag was kind of a concern for me as I like to do straight highway pulls but from what I hear the wing doesn’t seem to have an affect till over 130ish-150mph so I don’t think I plan on going that fast anyway who knows lol. Nice bike by the way.
