Why would you still need to have a throttle controller after you've had it tuned?
I had the Vitesse as well, but felt it was not really necessary after I bought the TB from Soler. My car seems to be a bit unusual, and had the surge issue a couple months into the new TB. Mike was really helpful and got me a tweaked one, but now the surge is coming back, and I'm hoping to just go to a tuner to be done with it once and for all.

I like having it visible. Makes the interior of the car more interesting. I’m an avionics fan so I love to see gauges and buttons in the interiors of my cars.
The controller is mounted where most are mounting below the starter button, but the part that connects to the pedal is stuck to the carpet to the right of the pedal on hump if you stick your head down to see it. Not really noticeable until you look for it.

A Vitesse throttle controller wreaked havoc on tuner trying to do a custom tune on a car. So somebody said all throttle controllers are bad. Cliff notes

Thank you for clarifying that.

Does Mike have any input on removing TC or TB for a tune?

Yes, the TC should be removed until after you are done tuning.

I received and install mines this past weekend. Install was simple enough and I appreciated the variability in the throttle now. What's the pros of pairing it with the throttle body, if any? I haven't quite understood what I would be gaining to have the throttle body, no tune and a thrtle controller.
