What happens if you run the 295 25 19 that matches?

Does it mess with the computer?

I've been running the 345 toyos on an 11 inch rim with no problems it just looks funny that the tire bulges over the rim and isnt lined perfectly like the 325 does I'm the pic.

I'm sure in my case drop pressure and I get better traction off the line and some side wall give..

Running normal pressure I haven't seen any awkward feeling in high speed turns..

I just bought 2 rear 19x12s OEM wheels.. how does the 355 look on the sidewall compared to the rim?

Also I didn't have to move the harness with 19x11 et 38mm

Wondering if I will om the 19x12s?

345 PSC2 looks badass on the ZLE, this may be the only tire that looks more badass :-)

I used to think 285/30/18s on all corners looked wide on my Evo X.

This is some damn good information you're posting.......

Is this photo 315/30/19 - 345/30/19 ??

Yeah it’s funny how wide tires vary in how they look on different cars. For example I had 315s on my old 94 z28 and it looked good but the same tire looked massive on a c4 Corvette. And thanks, I couldn’t agree with you more lol!

Fortunately Kuhmo now makes the V720 in 305/30-19. Mine will be here Tuesday. I assume running the 295/25-19 would potentially mess with the computers head lol. But that’s not a problem now. I will go grab a pic of the sidewall.

I would say move your wiring harness. It’s super easy and requires only 30 minutes and 2-3 zip ties.

This could be great. Thanks for testing it. I am still looking for a somewhat budget friendly track day tire for my apex wheels in the 1LE dimensions (I have a normal ZL1, not a 1LE). How much is this set and where did you order?

eBay is where I bought mine. Normal tire stores can’t seem to get them without a hefty mark up. Normal price on rears seems to hover around $375 each but then they went on sale for $315 and I jumped on it. The fronts were $242 each from a different seller. One store got close to matching that but I went eBay again to save a few bucks.

Thank you! Is there any way the 305-30-19 will fit the rear as well? They might be too narrow for a 12 inch wide wheel? cheers

Looking at the photos, this tire looks about right for the wheel size if you drive on public roads and park around town a lot.

I like the accurate driving feel of stretched tires. With that said, If I could avoid curb rash I would choose avoid wheel damage every time.

Just theorizing here, but there's only 1 inch difference between the front and rear rim in width. You can probably get the 305 on the rear wheel but as mentioned above it'll look a bit stretched.

You can either run 305 3R, or 315 Hoosier R7 or 315 PSC2. I'd try the PSC2 first because the idea is to have a set of 4 that wears better than 3R, and nothing wears faster on track than 3Rs on the front of a ZL1.
People have run 335 square Rivals on an SS on track. A 325 G3R can fit a ZLE for sure with the right spacer.

See above, but I don't blame you for not wanting to be the tester.

Completely different tread compound though. The non-ACR V720 is an autocross only compound that won't hold up to tracking. Not an issue if you don't track.

No one knows on the ACR front tire, but just like I told you, everyone thinks the huge diameter difference will cause a problem. You are going to have to be the first one to try it on a Camaro if you really want to know. I just bought 4 of the front tires to run square, like Coby is running on his SS1LE in Gridlife time attack. I'd love to run the ACR rear tire, but I'm not spending the money for another set of rims with at least a 12" wide rear right now.

Yeah I noticed the 305/30-19 didn’t have the ACR designation so I did some digging and found what you said. These are just street tires for me though. I plan to get a 2nd set of wheels and remount the GY’s.

I recall you saying that the 345s were equal to the width of the 325 SC3R.. what was your overall opinion on the PSC2 in 345 vs the SC3R in 325s? I was there the same day as you but with the factory sizing PSC2 and sliding all over the place. Hated the PSC2 with my power levels in the factory sizing
