Catch Can and SC reservoir recommendations

Fellas,

Thanks to some insightful comments here, I’ve become a believer in these two items. I’m grateful for your recommendations.

Thank you,
Chris

ADM for the reservoir. Takes about an hour to install!

Thanks for the recommendations.

Does your SCR and CC mount near the drivers side shock tower? I’ve usually seen the SCR mounted there but wasn’t sure if there would be room for both in that location. Also, I watched a video of a CC mounted in front of the engine on the passenger side but there were clearance problems with the hood heat diverter.

Wow, talk about “Two peas in a pod”

Very nicely done. Is it hard to empty the can?

You just have room for your hand!
I do it with a plastic cup I can go through and below...
Not super easy but it works
Recommend to do it when your engine is cold...
(Just in case you touch the pipe, you will feel the heat)

I made some adjustments.
I asked Elite the long fixation (they usually ship the short one)
Then cut the top part to clear the second bolt on the bar,
Then cut round clearance in the middle to clear the AC line in order to maximize the distance from the engine and set the catch can closer to the side...
Then you fix the bolts to have the height you want (not too high to allow the ADM SC line to go above, not too low to allow you to empty it)
That’s it

Put also all the 3 lines together in the front (to make it clean and nice)
-one below the CAI to go to the elbow
-one to go to the T (after cutting the car line)
-one going up driver side, then top front of the SC, then return below passenger side for the PC valve.

You can also see that the bottom line of the ADM reservoir is tightened to the AC line
(To clear the space to empty the CC, but I think also helps a little to cool the SC coolant ...)

I didn’t try,
But I think you may have more room if you fix the CC direct to the rotofab.
(Drill two holes on the side of the box, and bolt the CC fixation).
You may have more space below to empty it....
Double check with the AC line.
You may also have more room with the top ADM SC Line for the oil change....

Nice
I will probably add a STB too, thanks to your set up!
Do you know if BMR provides new bolts and spacers ?
(Does it come with the STB?)
Looks like there is something to work to adjust the fixations on each side to be flat ...

I was like you at the beginning, then decide to run the 3rd hose to the front instead of the back....;-)

We sell plenty of Elite catch cans. The ADM is a popular reservoir and very easy to install. We will be listing the new Lingenfeleter reservoir on our site shortly. It should add more volume to the cooling system and it removes it from the engine heat as well. Should be a solid option
