Vengeance racing stage 2 cam or 3? Which to choose?

Good morning

I currently have a 18 ZL1 Camaro A10 with full bolt ons and e I'm going to cam it soon. I want to go with the vengeance racing stage 3 cam. Will that cam be good for my application doing a 2650 blower next year. Or should I go with a stage 2 from vengeance racing. Thanks

Bigger isn’t always better op. I would suggest seeing which is more driver friendly and would you need a torque converter (idk if you are A10 or M6). Also find out where each cam has it’s power band too. I had a btr stage 3 blower cam in my ctsv wagon with fbo and it to me was a perfect combo. This was 5 years ago too mind you

I have no experience with Vengeance but have a stage 3 cam from Cammotion. It drives great, makes amazing power, and sounds amazing. I kinda wish I did the stage 2 instead so it wouldn’t buck so much at stop lights. Other than that, I love it.

Obviously the Vengeance and the Cammotion stage 3 will be cut different. Just ask them about the characteristics of the cam and what it will and will not do and go from there.

If you are doing a cam and 2650 prepare yourself for a bunch of power!

I would call and ask for David Crunkleton. Tell him what you have done, what you're expecting to do in the future and ask him what cam is best for you. They're the experts, they know why they have 2 different cams and what to expect from them.

Ask Branden or Ron at Vengeance. No one will have a more accurate answer than the guys at Vengeance who designed these cams and who install them every day. They are great guys and will be happy to help. FWIW, an internet poll is absolutely the worst way to select a cam.

Stage 3 does require a torque converter.. that would be my other question on which one to run? A10 sorry forgot to add that. And will do more research on the power band. And that's awesome can you send me a video of your car idling. What do you currently drive now?
