Rear bumper covered with black exhaust

After every ride I have to wipe the exhaust spatter off the back off this beautiful white camaro.I have the exhaust set in track mode also.I wouldn’t think this would be normal or is it

Black suet on the rear bumper means the car is running to rich. Too much fuel in the mix. check for codes in the PCM

Are you positive it's only stuff coming from the exhaust? Easiest way to tell is to wipe down the inside of the exhaust tips and look for buildup there. Also, if you drive at WOT a lot you'll get a lot of extra soot coming out because you're forcing the car to run rich which is normal.

White shows everything, even driving on "clean" roads there's still enough dirt/dust getting picked up that I get a light coating on the rear bumper after a light drive. I assume aerodynamics don't help with that either since it's probably swirling the air behind the car a bit.

The rear of mine gets dirty first. I've always assumed its an aerodynamic effect of the wind coming around, over and under the car causing dirt to swirl up and stick the the rear area. I've not noticed the dirt to be just exhaust soot. Instead it looks to be mostly road grime on mine.

Same thing here. I'm thinking its either the exhaust spatter or the rubber coming off my stock Goodyear run flats. Is anyone having this issue with different tires?

this time of years its probably just blowing condensation out when you first start the car in the mornings.

Get a black car and you will never have to worry about seeing it.

Ok thanks for the comments I have been running her quite hard in track mode maybe she’s a little rich .I have the darker dust I figured that normal but the black specs are definitely exhaust.I will look at after the wife takes it she’s not so heavy on the accelerator lol
