Does this look right? (Dyno)

Stock M6 2018 Zl1 seems slow so I got a dyno yesterday and it read 531/and ? On torque. My car just seems slow and he said it’s approximately 25 hp down from average and that everything looks good and that she is healthy but just a turd. Lmk opinions, I did a fun roll in Mexico against a bone stock ss A8 vert and we were dead even from 50-140. We ran 3 different times with same results. Yeah I think something is off

You are down on power. Somethings not right with it. Try disconnecting the battery overnight to reset the ECM. Won’t help if something major is wrong but it’s free lol.

Our dyno reads light and every ZL1 has been north of that. When we do get lower numbers on the dyno (and complaints of dogging performance) they go hand in hand with the cars that are low on coolant in the blower. You probably have an air bubble in your supercharger cooling system or are very low on coolant. This causes your pump to cut off and intake temps to sky rocket. PM or call us and we can run through some options with you.

First off no way a bone stock SS is keeping pace with a ZL1 putting down 531 at the wheels. 531 leaves you off 22hp from 553whp which would be 15% parastatic loss of stock 650 rated crank hp. Also that dyno as far as tomfoolery looks good as the hp/tq # intersect at 5250ish. You very well may have some issues going on with your car. But no way that SS was stock.

+1 on this. Even sick, yours is ~120 more to the wheels than a stock SS and you can’t pull him? Something’s not adding up.
Anyway, the guys on here will steer you straight. Good Luck.

+1, tell the SS guy to pop his hood and reveal the Maggie/Whipple/Edelbrock under it.

Your ZL1 is low on power, but not super excessively, an M6 should put down roughly 550 to 570 hp. Check into that intercooler reservoir that others suggested.

Well I must say I've never seen so many unanimous votes for "you're down on power" based on a single dynograph. Almost always we'll have at least half a dozen "Every dyno is different" and "different days, different numbers" etc. Both comments are true. I wouldn't jump to conclusions about having a factory lemon. 530 dynos do happen, sure not very often especially with manual but don't freak out. I'd bleed your system or get the reservoir as mentioned which is a great suggestion. See what happens.
