I noticed the Tuner's signature(XXX ZL1) had the JMS Voltage booster as part of his mods on his car, are you putting that on as well?

You guys realize the Katech and Nick Williams is literally the same exact TB.... ? One has Katech branding and an anodized blade and one does not. Something else must have been up on that specific TB that was failing.

So I have a question I've been seeing alot of guys going with kong to port there lt4 S/C has anyone done a comparison with Jokerz ported S/C. I know they offer power coating which looks pretty nice.

The problem I had was that Katech would not do anything and lied about the tuner's files.
They have lost a customer.

The Katech had issues and I even called and talked with them. They told me they never had a issue with TB and the tuner just did something wrong. I sent the datalog showing it wasn’t hitting a torque limiter of any kind and the tune file in the car. At that point we got blown off. Installed NW 103 and the exact same tune file.......perfect working TB. Had one of their engineers post on a Katech tb issue post on Facebook and I posted about having issues and ask for input and the guy never replied again. Lol. Pretty interesting way to handle customers. Just ignore them until they go away.

Was hot on the last dyno pull and it pulled a degree of timing due to MAT temps. Car would easily make 650 on a cool pull. The joys of a PD blower and living in Florida. Lol

Ok fine. But the point was that the throttle bodies are the same. So a Nick Williams TB isn't going to magically be better than a Katech or cure an issue because its a NW vs Katech. It was an issue with that specific TB. Nice that it got worked out though.

Probably just a bad TB but should have been felt with by Katech. An easy swap got another would have done the trick, I have a katech 103 with no issues whatsoever. Customer service means a lot.
