Maybe same manufacturer, but not same specifications. Can't tell you how many times people came in saying Safelite said I just need the camera or whatnot calibrated, only to find out that the glass did not have the proper openings for cameras or reflective properties for HUD.

When I had to have my 2016 SS windshield repaired a few years ago I used Safelite for the repair and I asked the technician if I had to replace the windshield would it be like OEM and he said yes. Of course I told him it was the HUD style and he still told me they use the correct type if it has to be replaced but costs more than the standard type windshield.

Figured I'd bump this thread instead of starting a new one.

Just got a new windshield and few days later drove the car and noticed the HUD was misaligned, it's rotated CW further down. If I drove a 19+, this would be easily fixed, but mine is a 18. I drove a couple of days and is annoying. Confusing part is the HUD should not have moved other than the glass being defective?

Off chance this is something I can possibly adjust and not deal with the headache of bringing the car back?
