What mode do you guys use for burnouts. Mine won’t do them with all nannies on. What am I missing? Thanks in advance.

I daresay most of us don't burn the tires off just for the sake of a smoke cloud and instead save them for the track or autocross. However, if the need to destroy your tires is overwhelming, just hold down the traction control button for about 5 seconds. That disables all the nannies. At that point, you are on your own.

This is your problem. Turn off traction control at the very least (quickly hit the button once) or turn it off completely (I think it takes holding it for 7 seconds, not 5, but just hold it until the respective icons appear in the DIC) and do the burnout in first.

Alternatively, you can install a big ass supercharger or twin turbo kit, at which point traction control won't be able to handle the power anymore

Wasn't it Motor Trend who found it near impossible to get a SS 1LE to do a burnout?

When I visited the drags, I had quite a challenge as well although my goal was to simply do a quick clean and warm...it didn't want to do it. Admittedly I didn't tach to 6000 rpm and drop the clutch, but...now with the LT4 blower, it spins in second. :-)
