Any real benefit to a ported TB on an already tuned car

Kind of bored and have been thinking about a ported TB for my build. I have one on my Procharged C7 and the tuner said it was a waste of money. LOL I have no plans of retuning the car and all I am really looking for is a bit better throttle response. I am curious to know will the car relearn a ported tb or will it require a tune? I am going to tune the trans in the near future but if the majority experience is a ported tb is beneficial I am shopping.

Far as gains, On a Centri car no...on a PD car yes. Far as tuning, none is needed either way with a ported stock tb. With a PD car I would get a LT5 95mm minimum but it will require a couple changes in the ECU.

So I should pull the ported TB off the Corvette and just put it on the Camaro. LOL Tuner tuned the Corvette with that TB on it so I want to just leave it alone. I have HP tuners for both cars. Are the changes I would need pretty straight forward or would I need a dyno? Trust me King I am listening to you now. LOL Those Solar TB's look like the way to go, but if there is a better bang for the buck I am listening. Hell I still have the stock TB from my Corvette but it sounds like the LT5 is a bigger/better base.

Since you have HPt, I would buy a ported GM LT5 tb. all you have to do is change the throttle area limits to 6,118 under the Engine/airflow/electronic throttle tab. That is what's nice about that TB...It behaves nice, easy to tune, and you will see a bump in power.

*Forgot to mention you will want to data log and verify the fueling is good.
