Zigg, It all depends on your ultimate power goals and budget. We've built some amazing cars over here based off a ported blower. Maxing out the blower hasn't let us down yet and we have pushed out several cars in the 750-775rwhp range. The 2300s have more power potential for sure and the 2650s can push well over 1000rwhp. Keep in mind to get to that power level you need to convert to port injection (not cheap) or spend big money on direct injection upgrades. If you're trying to work with in a budget and hit 750rwhp the stock blower will get you there. With meth you can get over 800rwhp. Hitting 800rwhp with a 2300 is a whole lot easier. With a 2650 you pretty much toss it on and you're there. As far as pricing goes we can do a 2300 for considerably less then 5K. Hit us up and we can go over pricing and all your options. |

My car makes 780/803 to the wheel using ported SC, cam, meth, or 103TB, 2” headers, big Gulp and tune. The power is plenty enough.

Yes, in fact 9.1 lower and 2.3 upper. Knowing what I know now and how much power this thing makes, I would have stayed with just the 9.1 lower. This would reduce heat further and make me feel more confident in the platform. Currently running meth so no heat issues whatsoever and I’m in south TX which is crazy hot all the time. Just going with the 9.1 lower and not adding a 2.3 upper would also drop power a bit. I imagine about 20whp. The car is so fast right now that it’s hard to handle a 50 roll. Torque is insane on these little blowers.

Nice so maybe my 9.45 lower will hit the honey spot!! Hopefully I get everything hooked up and running soon. I might get some meth installed before I port the SC? I am about at my yearly budget and I might want an Anderson Composite carbon fiber spoiler! And a mosaic black hood wrap

Magnuson 2300 all day. Much cooler MAT temp over a pullied stock blower. I have 2300 on my car and make 12.5 lbs and a friends car I tune has a Kong ported stock blower with 2.3 pulley making 12.75-13 lbs. Both cars have 103 inlet, 103 tb, rotofab big gulp, and full exhaust. My car makes almost 70 rwhp more with same timing and air fuel. And my temps are 20-30 degrees cooler. Recovery is faster as well.

XXX is right, if you haven't had one then you just don't know the big difference and if you want to do more upgrades and cooler MAT temps the 2300 is the way to go.

Usually the ported blower (with a 103mm tb) and 100 octane will net around 100rwhp. We start running into fuel limitations after 700rwhp assuming you have the stock cam. |

This is on par with what we see. The 2300 will make more power and run cooler with quicker recovery. If you have the extra cash it's worth it but they are considerably more expensive. You're looking around $4400 compared to $1250. That extra $3000 can be a installed cam and your tune. So it really depends on the route you're looking to go |

After all of the comments I think I will be going with theb2300 Maggie. I am not looking for crazy 1000hp but it seem that the 2300 is more "efficient " going with the 9.45lower and methanol this year next year send it to the 2300
