It does provide a "zip" to the car for sure!

I've liked what I've read and seen online about this TB so far so I ordered one. Looking forward to the results.

Makes total sense. It probably snaps your neck back from the torque. That was my biggest complaint with the Camaro, it didn't feel as raw as the Hellcat.

Sounds like the controller is going to take care of that issue.

I run his 95mm one on my setup and it’s amazing what it does for the car. My blower is ported to use a 103mm if I wanted to but my car runs so good on his ported 95mm I have no reason to use the much more expensive 103mm that has been known to not drive that great. My 9.52 was using his throttle body and what I see on my logs I do see an improvement for flow as my maf hz increased on my logs. The way he is cutting them it holds great drive ability and is adding the flow of other companies ported setups. He definitely has something going on with this very unique cut on it. You will even notice you automatic 8/10 speed shift better as it’s increasing maf flow lower tps range which is adding pressure to the trans so making it shift better. That’s just one of the pluses you will get from one of his setups.

The car drives much much better now when pulling away from a traffic light or a stop sign or launching aggressively. I really do appreciate how less prone to bogging the car is on launch now. I drive a manual car; it probably makes an A10 feel like it has more bottom end torque.

Mike from Soler Performance was very responsive to my inquiries during the few hiccups I had during the learning procedure.

I recommend this mod.

I installed my throttle controller 2 weeks ago and it makes a hell of a different. The car seems like it gained 100 pounds of torque!

The supercharger wine and exhaust seem louder. Anyone else experience this?

Does your whine and exhaust sound louder because your pedal is more sensitive? RPM Racing had a video about throttle controls and basically how they just make your gas pedal more sensitive and to just press the pedal down more if you want to get on it.
I do have a throttle control ready to install just have not took my car out of storage yet. Maybe this weekend this social distance is a good reason to go for a cruise. Just need the weather to

I believe the motor is now taking bigger breaths of air due to the throttle body opening faster and wider. That’s what’s contributing to the louder noises.

Side note, as far as the “you don’t need a throttle controller, just give it more gas” argument. I disagree with that, you’ll see when you install yours. Giving this car more gas in OEM form will never produce the same effect the TC does.

I believe the throttle controller tricks the ECM and overrides the stock throttle input tune.

Giving these cars more gas pedal in OEM form gets you more of that annoying lag. TC takes care of that completely.

I purchased one of Soler Performances replacement LT4 throttle bodies used from another Camaro6 member. He sent all the original paper work with it. I disconnected the battery, and swapped throttle bodies. Left the battery disconnected for a few hours, and went through the recommended learn procedures. Not a single stumble whatsoever, I did it to improve throttle response, I couldn’t be happier. Much improved. Thanks.

The Soler Throttle Controller is a game changer. While I have both the TB and the controller, the controller made the most difference in feel and drivability. Best mod I have spent money on.

You've all seen my posts in this thread. The TB and TC are, dare I say, game changing mods for the LT4. Mike's follow up on questions is inspiring. Soler really does understand the science. Very refreshing to say the least!

So after reading all the good things about the TB and TC I want on the Soler website to order, and the TC is out of stock. Does anyone know when it will become available maybe Mike can chime in.

Thanks, 20BlueZl1. Thanks to all of you for the kind words, for that matter.

TC's will be available by the end of next week. We'll PM you as soon as we update our Webstore inventory.
